THE WHO-TDR Clinical Coordination and Training Center (CCTC) is the result of an agreement between WHO-TDR, Geneva, Switzerland and Thammasat University, Thailand, to establish the University as a coordinating center for WHO/TDR activities in the region. The four main objectives of the center include : coordination of good practices networks, training in good practice, support the implementation of good practices, and evaluation of good practices.




A leading service provider and catalyst for the development of quality and ethical health research.




The WHO-TDR CCTC is dedicated to training and quality management of health research by promoting and evaluating models of integrated systems and facilitating the formation and maintenance of sustainable networks globally.



PROF. DR. KESARA NA-BANGCHANG

Prof. Dr. Kesara Na-Bangchang – Dr. Na-Bangchang is the Coordinator of Center and the manager of Clinical Data Management network. She is currently the director of Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences and Deputy Dean for Research and Academic Affairs, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Thammasat University.
DR. THONGCHAI THAVICHACHART

Dr. Thongchai Thavichachart – Dr. Thongchai is the Center’s Consultant for External Affairs. He was the former Deputy General of the Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS). He is currently TCELS’ Senior Expert Advisor.
Prof. Dr. Cristina Torres

Prof. Dr. Cristina Torres – FERCAP coordinator for more than four years, Dr. Torres moved from the office in the compound of the Thai Ministry of Public Health to set up the FERCAP office at the Center. Dr. Torres was formerly a professor in Social Sciences in the University of the Philippines, Manila, Philippines.
Dr. Fe Esperanza Espino

Dr. Fe Esperanza Espino – A WHO/TDR clinical monitor for several years, Dr. Espino, is also pediatric infectious disease specialist on leave from the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine, Department of Health, Manila, Philippines. She joined the Center in April 2009 as the Good Clinical Practices Network coordinator.
Mr. Arthur Navarro

Mr. Arthur Navarro – Before he became FERCAP research fellow at the Center, Mr. Navarro was a lecturer in Social Sciences at the University of the Philippines, Manila, Philippines. He also worked for the Southeast Asian Consortium on Gender, Sexuality, and Health and Focus on the Global South.
